This miniaturized illuminator can be fixed directly on the optical connector of the endoscope. A service life of the integrated permanent-set semiconductor light source exceeds 10000 h. The output light flux is up to 60 lm.

The illuminator resists falls, shakes, and vibrations and operates without any noise and heat release. It is characterized by very small dimensions and weight, readily fixed to optical tubes and can be used as a handle of the endoscope during operation.

The illuminator ensures natural color rendering at the source color temperature of 5500° K and constant brightness during operation.

The power source is two standard rechargeable AA-type batteries or other batteries of that kind.

Automatic cutout is provided for preventing severe discharge of batteries.

The illuminator is compatible to any types of optical endoscopic connectors and can be used as a light source for hand-operated ophthalmoscopes and otoscopes.
