Video glasses

Video glasses are an innovation product which came into the market only several years ago.

They consist of two miniaturized liquid-crystal displays integrated into a spectacle frame and equipped with special optics for projection of quality images directly into an eye of an observer.

Video glasses
  • Video glasses can be connected to any video source thus replacing the liquid-crystal display.
  • Video glasses have a small weight (less than 100g) and small dimensions, low power consumption (off-line operation time – up to 4 h.).

To visualize images from endoscopes and videoscopes, spectacles with the following image formats are suitable:

  • QVGA (320 px x 240 px), which is equivalent to the virtual 27" screen at a distance of 2 m.
  • VGA (640 px x 480 px), which is equivalent to the 48" screen at the same distance.
